Gerd Müller Special Train

On the Feast of the Assumption, a special excursion follows in the footsteps of the ‘Bomber der Nation’, travelling from Munich to Gerd Müller’s birthplace, Nördlingen. The outward journey is hauled by a steam locomotive, and the return by a historic electric locomotive. In Nördlingen, choose between a guided tour of the historic old town, including the Gerd Müller statue, and a visit to the Bavarian Railway Museum. Admission or the guided tour is included in the fare. In memory of Gerd Müller, and at the suggestion of his widow Uschi Müller, €5 from each ticket goes to Verschönerungsverein Nördlingen e. V.
