6th Nördlingen Railway Festival

The highlight of the Bavarian Railway Museum’s calendar is the Railway Festival over the Ascension Day weekend. Alongside the museum’s own steam locomotives, numerous other societies visit each year with their locomotives and special trains. A festival for all ages that brings historic railways to life. As well as shuttle services to Donauwörth and Gunzenhausen, there is a varied programme at the museum. Enjoy a ride in the cab of a diesel locomotive or an expert guided tour, then take a break with refreshments in the engine shed. Alongside Nördlingen’s major anniversaries, BayernBahn, the museum’s subsidiary, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Climb aboard and celebrate with us!
