Nördlingen 2027
A Town Prays for Peace
Nördlingen celebrates a peace festival from 5 to 7 March. A shared service, a chain of lights around the historic town wall, a Taizé prayer gathering and prayers for peace in many places across our town bring people together in prayer and hope. For centuries, St George’s Church and the town wall have been landmarks, protection and a sense of home for our town. Just as six centuries ago, the desire for peace and the prayer for protection for Nördlingen and all its residents are more relevant than ever. Together, we pray for peace, solidarity and confidence in the future.
